Bridge7 Acquires Sequel Rights for Slumdog Millionaire

Bridge7, a new Los Angeles-based production company founded by Swati Shetty and Grant Kessman, has acquired the rights for a sequel and TV adaptation of the Oscar-winning film 'Slumdog Millionaire'. The rights were obtained from Celador, the UK company that produced the original 2008 film with Film4. Directed by Danny Boyle, the movie won eight Academy Awards and is celebrated for its universal narrative that connects with audiences globally. Bridge7 aims to build on the film's legacy by creating stories that bridge entertainment with profound human experiences.
