Two CHP Officers Hospitalized After Rollover Crash on 14 Freeway Palmdale

Two California Highway Patrol officers were hospitalized after their vehicle rolled over on the southbound 14 Freeway near Barrel Springs Road in Palmdale on a recent Saturday evening. The CHP vehicle, reportedly with lights on and changing lanes, veered onto the right shoulder, hit a dirt embankment, and rolled multiple times before coming to rest on its side. Both officers were quickly extricated by emergency responders and taken to Antelope Valley Hospital as a precaution, with no major injuries reported. The single-vehicle crash led to a SigAlert and temporary traffic diversions while authorities investigated the incident. Although witnesses initially suggested another vehicle may have been involved, CHP confirmed their vehicle was the only one in the crash.
