Bruce Springsteen Biopic Premieres New York Film Festival

The biographical drama "Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere," which chronicles the making of Bruce Springsteen's 1982 album "Nebraska," premiered at the New York Film Festival at Lincoln Center. The film stars Jeremy Allen White as Springsteen, depicting a pivotal and dark period in the musician's life marked by depression and alienation. Springsteen himself attended the premiere, performing the song "Land of Hope and Dreams" and praising the cast, particularly White and Jeremy Strong, who plays Springsteen's manager Jon Landau. The film highlights Springsteen's relationship with his late father and showcases the raw, acoustic nature of the album recorded in Springsteen's New Jersey bedroom. White, who had no prior singing or guitar experience, received direct support and encouragement from Springsteen during filming. "Deliver Me From Nowhere" is set to be released in theaters on October 24, 2025.
