Cedar Point plans to hire 7,000 seasonal workers

Cedar Point, known as the 'Roller Coaster Capital of the World,' is set to hire 7,000 seasonal employees for its 2025 season, which opens in May. A week-long hiring blitz is scheduled from February 15 to 22, where candidates can apply in person at the Cedar Point Hiring & Training Center and potentially get hired on the same day. Positions available include ride operators, lifeguards, food and beverage associates, and security, with pay ranging from $13 to $17 per hour depending on experience and role. Employees will also enjoy benefits such as discounts on park amenities, exclusive events, and free admission to all Six Flags parks. The recruitment effort is part of a broader campaign by Cedar Point's parent company, Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, to staff its parks across North America. Colleen Brady, Cedar Point's assistant general manager, emphasized the importance of seasonal associates in creating a positive guest experience.
