UConn hires Mike Nardi as assistant coach from Villanova

UConn men's basketball has officially hired former Villanova player and coach Mike Nardi as its new assistant coach, succeeding longtime assistant Tom Moore, who will transition into a general manager role. Nardi brings a decade of coaching experience at Villanova under both Jay Wright and Kyle Neptune, including roles as director of student-athlete development, video coordinator, and assistant coach. He contributed to Villanova's two national championships (2016, 2018), five Big East regular season titles, and five tournament championships, and also briefly served as interim head coach after Neptune’s departure.
