Duluth Man Shot by Stray Bullet on I-35
On Thursday morning, a 48-year-old Duluth man was shot in the leg by a stray bullet while driving south on Interstate 35 near Harris, Minnesota. The bullet entered his vehicle through the driver's side door, but three other occupants were unharmed. Law enforcement, including the Chisago County Sheriff's Office, Minnesota State Patrol, and Department of Natural Resources, responded and used drones to locate the source. Authorities discovered three men target shooting with rifles on private property over 1,500 feet away, with their target positioned toward the interstate. The shooters, who did not intend to strike the vehicle, are cooperating with the ongoing investigation. No arrests or charges have been announced.
