Slayer's 40th Anniversary UK Shows Announced
Slayer, the iconic thrash metal band, has announced their first UK shows in six years, set to take place in 2025 at Cardiff's Blackweir Fields on July 3rd and Finsbury Park in London on July 6th. These gigs, marking part of their European tour, will feature a robust lineup of support acts including Amon Amarth, Anthrax, Mastodon, Hatebreed, and Neckbreakker. Slayer will also perform at Black Sabbath's final concert on July 5th in Birmingham, paying tribute with a Sabbath cover. This UK tour commemorates Slayer's 40th anniversary and follows their reunion in 2024 after disbanding in 2019. Tickets for the concerts go on sale on March 7th, 2025, with a presale starting on March 6th. The band's return to the stage promises a career-spanning set and is a significant event for fans, emphasizing their long-standing influence in the metal music scene.
