Zelestra, Celepsa Finalize 238 MW Solar Power Agreement in Peru

Zelestra has partnered with Celepsa to develop a 238-MWdc solar park in Peru, enhancing the country's renewable energy capacity. The long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) will supply Celepsa with approximately 450 GWh of renewable electricity annually, supporting its sustainability initiatives. This project marks Zelestra's commitment to the Peruvian market, contributing to reduced carbon emissions and economic growth through job creation. Additionally, the agreement includes international renewable energy certificates (I-REC), ensuring the energy's green credentials. Zelestra's overall portfolio in Peru now exceeds 530 MWdc, reflecting its strategic expansion in Latin America. The collaboration is positioned as a significant step towards energy independence and environmental goals for Peru.
