England Women's Ashes Squad Announced for 2025

The England Cricket Board (ECB) has announced its squads for the upcoming Women's Ashes series against Australia, set to begin in January 2025. Captain Heather Knight leads a strong lineup that includes key players like Nat Sciver-Brunt and Sophie Ecclestone, alongside emerging talent such as Maia Bouchier and Ryana MacDonald-Gay, who will headline the Test squad after a promising debut against South Africa. Newcomers Freya Kemp and Linsey Smith are included in the T20I squad, while wicketkeeper-batter Bess Heath returns from injury. The multi-format series will feature three ODIs, three T20Is, and a day-night Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, marking a significant evolution in women's cricket.
