The robbery was one of three similar incidents reported at the track that day, believed to be orchestrated by organized groups targeting high-end watches in crowded events. Following the robbery, police arrested Camilo Nino-Hernandez on charges of grand theft and possession of a fraudulent social security card. Despite the theft, Buehler remains focused on the playoffs, with his team slated to play against the San Diego Padres shortly after the incident. The case is under investigation, and the Dodgers have not commented on the matter.
