The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has made significant arrests in connection with the NEET-UG paper leak case. Several individuals, including MBBS students and an engineer, have been apprehended for their roles in the alleged irregularities. The arrested individuals were part of a 'solver module' that operated during the NEET-UG examination, with activities spanning from stealing question papers to providing answers. The CBI's intensive investigation has led to a total of 21 arrests in six related cases, shedding light on the depth of the cheating scandal. Institutions like the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Ranchi have been involved in the probe, emphasizing the widespread impact of the issue on the medical education sector.
