Tele2 Appoints Jean Marc Harion as CEO

Tele2 has appointed Jean-Marc Harion as its new President and CEO, effective November 10, succeeding Kjell Johnsen, who announced his resignation in September. Harion, who previously led Play Poland to significant growth, brings over 25 years of experience in the telecom industry, having held leadership roles in various international markets. Tele2's Chairman Thomas Reynaud expressed confidence in Harion's ability to drive the company's digital transformation and enhance operations. Harion, excited about his new role, emphasized his commitment to leveraging Tele2's unique challenger culture to improve customer experience and accelerate growth. His appointment follows a substantial investment by Xavier Niel's Iliad Group, which has made it Tele2's largest shareholder. Harion's extensive background includes previous positions with Orange in multiple countries.
