Carabao Cup fourth-round draw set Sept. 24
The Carabao Cup fourth-round draw will take place after Arsenal’s Port Vale game on Wednesday, Sept. 24 (expected around 10:15pm BST) and will be broadcast on Sky Sports with streaming available. Sixteen teams are in the hat, with Brighton, Cardiff, Fulham, Liverpool, Wrexham, Wycombe, Wolves, Chelsea, Swansea, Crystal Palace, Grimsby Town and Brentford already through and Manchester City, Tottenham, Newcastle and Arsenal contesting places on Sept. 24. Fourth-round ties are scheduled for the week beginning Oct. 27; the competition involves all 92 professional clubs and the winner earns a UEFA Conference League berth if not already qualified. This week’s third-round action produced notable moments — Alexander Isak scored for Liverpool, Hugo Ekitiké struck late to win before being sent off, Chelsea recovered to beat Lincoln, and Grimsby remain the tournament’s Cinderella after earlier knocking out Manchester United on penalties. Several Premier League sides have already been eliminated, including Manchester United, West Ham, Bournemouth, Leeds, Sunderland, Burnley, Everton, Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa. Ties are single‑leg through the quarterfinals (no extra time until the semis) and the final is scheduled for March 22, 2026 at Wembley.
