Similarly, Essex Police announced a dispersal order in Canvey Island, effective from October 31 until November 1, aimed at preventing anti-social behaviour and ensuring a safe Halloween for the community. Merseyside Police also enacted a precautionary dispersal order, empowering officers to direct suspected troublemakers away from specific areas until November 1. In Nottinghamshire, a 48-hour dispersal order was issued in Arnold due to reports of disruptive youth behaviour. These measures reflect a proactive approach by law enforcement to maintain public safety during festive celebrations.
