Abridge, a healthcare AI startup, has raised $300 million in a Series E round led by Andreessen Horowitz, doubling its valuation to $5.3 billion after previously raising $250 million in February. The company plans to use the funds to expand product offerings, enhance AI infrastructure, hire technical talent, and embed revenue cycle intelligence into clinical workflows. Abridge's ambient AI technology transcribes and structures doctor-patient conversations in real time, integrates seamlessly with electronic health record systems, and aims to reduce clinician burnout.
