Manish Tiwary Appointed Managing Director at Nestle India

Nestle India has appointed Manish Tiwary as the new Managing Director, effective August 1, 2025, succeeding Suresh Narayanan, who will retire on July 31, 2025, after a remarkable 26-year tenure. Tiwary, currently the country manager at Amazon India, brings nearly three decades of experience in e-commerce and consumer goods, having previously spent 20 years at Unilever. His appointment is subject to necessary approvals from Nestle S.A., the company's Swiss parent firm. Tiwary will resign from his current director positions at Amazon Digital Services and More Consumer Brands on October 30, 2024, to facilitate a smooth transition. With a B.Tech in Computer Science and an MBA from IIM Bangalore, Tiwary has a robust background in leading large-scale operations and strategic initiatives. Narayanan's leadership included navigating the company through significant challenges such as the Maggi crisis in 2014.
