Alabama Prison Guard Charged With Custodial Misconduct, Contraband

Sabrina Taylor, a correctional guard at the W.C. Holman Correctional Facility in Alabama, was arrested for allegedly engaging in a sexual relationship with an inmate while also providing contraband, including a cell phone and Bluetooth headphones. The relationship reportedly lasted from February 24 to March 23, during which Taylor communicated with the inmate using the cell phone provided by him. She faces multiple charges, including custodial sexual misconduct and promoting prison contraband. The Alabama Department of Corrections is actively investigating the incident, with Commissioner John Hamm emphasizing the need to combat corruption within the facility. Additional charges against Taylor may be forthcoming as the investigation continues. Taylor was booked into jail and released shortly after her arrest.
