Kate O'Connor sets new Irish pentathlon record in Estonia

Kate O'Connor set a new Irish pentathlon record at the World Athletics Combined Events Tour in Estonia, scoring 4,683 points and finishing second overall. The 24-year-old athlete achieved personal bests in all five events, including an 8.37 seconds in the 60m hurdles and a long jump of 6.16m, which also marked a new Northern Ireland indoor record. O'Connor's performance exceeded her previous record by 287 points and secured her qualification for the European Indoor Championships in March.
