South Florida Marks 23rd Anniversary of 9/11

Communities across Florida are solemnly commemorating the 23rd anniversary of the September 11 attacks with various remembrance ceremonies. In South Florida, events include a ceremony at the Fort Lauderdale Fire and Safety Museum, featuring participation from local honor guards and a moment of silence at 9:30 a.m. Other notable gatherings include memorials at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and in Miramar, where artifacts from the attacks are displayed.
