Arrests Made in Child Pornography Cases Across California, Pennsylvania

Authorities in Victorville, California, arrested 23-year-old Matthew Marcus Alvarez for possessing and distributing over 600 images of child pornography involving minors under 12. The investigation began in October, leading to a search warrant executed at Alvarez's home, where evidence indicated he had communicated with multiple subjects through messaging applications. In a separate case, U.S. Marshals arrested 60-year-old Mark Wills in Bridgeport, West Virginia, for producing and distributing child pornography to children 13 and under. Wills was wanted in Pennsylvania for allegedly manufacturing hundreds of videos of child sexual abuse materials, which he shared online. A warrant for Wills' arrest was issued on February 6, leading to his apprehension at the Meadowbrook Mall on February 12. He is currently held without bond, awaiting extradition back to Pennsylvania.
