Minnesota Wild Defeats Utah in Shootout

The Minnesota Wild secured a thrilling 5-4 shootout victory over the Utah Hockey Club in Salt Lake City, marking the first shootout in the franchise's history. Marco Rossi's late goal with 43.2 seconds remaining in regulation forced overtime, while Matt Boldy scored the decisive shootout goal. Kirill Kaprizov contributed his 18th goal of the season, and Marat Khusnutdinov and Marcus Johansson also found the net for the Wild. On the other side, Clayton Keller scored twice in the third period for Utah, which has now lost five straight home games. Minnesota reversed a 1-0 deficit by scoring twice in quick succession late in the second period. The Wild improved to 19-5-2 overall, while Utah fell to 12-11-5.
