Jackal Attacks Injure Seven in Uttar Pradesh

A series of jackal attacks have escalated in several regions of India, injuring numerous individuals, including children. Similar incidents have occurred in Mirzapur, where jackals entered homes, injuring seven individuals overnight, and in Muzaffarpur, where a group of jackals injured over a dozen villagers, creating widespread fear. Forest officials are investigating these attacks, confirming that the incidents were initially misattributed to wolves. In response, local residents have been advised to avoid going out alone and to be cautious during nighttime. The forest department is actively working to capture the jackals involved in these attacks.
