Mekhi Blackmon Out for 2024 Season

Minnesota Vikings cornerback Mekhi Blackmon tore his ACL during the first practice of training camp, officially ending his 2024 season. This injury compounds the Vikings' cornerback woes, following the tragic death of cornerback Khyree Jackson earlier this month. Blackmon's absence leaves the Vikings' cornerback room significantly weakened, with veterans Byron Murphy Jr. and Shaquill Griffin now leading a depth chart that includes Akayleb Evans, Andrew Booth Jr., and newly signed Duke Shelley and Jacobi Francis.
