AHS Season 13 Cast Returns; Jessica Lange Returns

Ryan Murphy announced a star-studded cast for American Horror Story Season 13, confirming returns by Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman and newcomer Ariana Grande. Lange’s comeback is notable — her first major AHS appearance since 2018’s Apocalypse — while Paulson and Peters last appeared in 2021’s Double Feature. Murphy revealed the lineup in an Instagram Halloween tease that riffed on Coven-era lines and imagery, suggesting a witch-connected storyline and indicating the season is likely to premiere around Halloween 2026. Murphy has been teasing the project since 2024, Season 12 wrapped in April 2024, and he said more casting and details are forthcoming.
