Turnstile Releases New Songs Featuring Hayley Williams, Dev Hynes
Turnstile has released two new songs, “Seein’ Stars” and “Birds,” as a double single with an accompanying music video, ahead of their upcoming album Never Enough, due June 6. “Seein’ Stars” explores a dreamier, funk-pop sound with guest vocals from Blood Orange’s Devonté Hynes and Paramore’s Hayley Williams, while “Birds” returns to the band's hardcore roots with high-energy instrumentation. The video, directed by frontman Brendan Yates and guitarist Pat McCrory, visually bridges the contrasting styles of the tracks. Never Enough marks the band’s first album with rhythm guitarist Meg Mills and was produced by Yates in both Baltimore and Los Angeles. Turnstile will celebrate the album’s release with a Brooklyn show on June 5, followed by appearances at major festivals in Europe, the UK, and North America, including Glastonbury and Ottawa Blues Festival. This marks their first new album in four years, following the Grammy-nominated Glow On.
