NBC Plans Grand Ole Opry 100th Anniversary Special March 19

NBC will celebrate the Grand Ole Opry's 100th anniversary with a live special titled 'Opry 100: A Live Celebration' on March 19, 2025, hosted by country music star Blake Shelton. The three-hour event will feature performances from a variety of artists, including Ashley McBryde, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, and Garth Brooks, along with a special appearance by Randy Travis. The celebration will showcase iconic collaborations and highlight significant moments from the Opry's history, taking place at the Grand Ole Opry House and Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium. A limited number of tickets will be available for purchase starting January 31, 2025. Patrick Moore, CEO of Opry Entertainment Group, expressed excitement for the event, aiming to connect millions of fans to the magic of the Opry. The broadcast will be executive produced by Emmy Award winners from Silent House Productions.
