Everton in League Cup

In the second round of the English League Cup, Premier League teams Everton, Brighton, Crystal Palace, Leicester, and Fulham all secured emphatic victories over lower-league opposition, collectively scoring 17 goals without conceding. Everton achieved their first win of the season with a 3-0 victory against Doncaster, highlighted by goals from Tim Iroegbunam, Iliman Ndiaye, and Beto. Brighton continued their strong form under new manager Fabian Hurzeler by thrashing Crawley 4-0, despite an injury to new signing Matt O’Riley.
