SXSW London Festival Opens with Eminem's 'Stans' Documentary

The inaugural SXSW London Screen Festival will open with the world premiere of 'Stans,' a documentary co-produced by Eminem that explores the relationship between artists and their superfans, referencing Eminem's iconic song 'Stan.' The film, directed by Steven Leckart, features Eminem, his collaborators, and fans, and will be screened on Paramount+ later in the year. The festival, running June 2-7 in Shoreditch, will showcase 12 world premieres and 30 UK premieres, including headliners such as the action comedy 'Deep Cover' and documentaries about model and activist Munroe Bergdorf. The closing night will feature the UK premiere of 'The Life of Chuck,' a film based on Stephen King’s novella and starring Tom Hiddleston. Other highlights include the premiere of the Stephen King-based TV series 'The Institute' and the BBC drama 'What It Feels Like For a Girl,' based on Paris Lee's memoir. The festival aims to celebrate boundary-pushing works across documentary, animation, and narrative filmmaking.
