Germany to Send 60 IRIS-T Missiles to Ukraine

Germany is set to deliver 60 additional IRIS-T anti-aircraft missiles to Ukraine, valued at approximately €60 million, as part of its ongoing military support amid Russia's invasion. This decision follows talks between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius in Kyiv, highlighting Germany's commitment to bolstering Ukraine's defense capabilities. The missiles will be sourced from the Bundeswehr's existing stockpile, and discussions are ongoing regarding an additional €3 billion in aid for Ukraine, despite budgetary challenges due to the collapse of Germany's coalition government.
