Production of the Apple TV+ comedy series 'Brothers,' starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, has been paused in Texas after showrunner David West Read left due to creative differences regarding the season's ending. Eight of ten episodes have been filmed, and the cast, including Holland Taylor, Natalie Martinez, and Brittany Ishibashi, was sent home while producers seek a new showrunner. Lee Eisenberg, known for 'Lessons in Chemistry' and 'Jury Duty,' is in talks to take over and oversee the remaining episodes and potential reshoots. The series, inspired by McConaughey and Harrelson's real-life friendship, explores their families living together on a Texas ranch. Both lead actors are executive producers, and Skydance Television produces the show. No date for resuming production has been set, and creative adjustments are expected under new leadership.
