Parsons Secures $56M Contract for Diriyah Phase 2 Public Realm Project

Parsons Corporation has secured a $56 million, five-year contract to participate in Phase 2 of the Diriyah project in Saudi Arabia, awarded by Diriyah Company, affiliated with the Public Investment Fund. The contract entails designing and supervising the construction of iconic and neighborhood parks, open spaces, and over 55 kilometers of streetscape, as well as streets, footpaths, accessible spaces, and civic buildings to enhance livability and work environments. The project aims to blend modern urban planning with traditional Najdi architectural styles, celebrating Saudi Arabia's rich cultural heritage, particularly in Diriyah, the historic birthplace of the Kingdom and home to the At-Turaif UNESCO World Heritage Site. Parsons brings nearly seven decades of experience in the Kingdom, combining innovation with urban design to support the creation of a mixed-use, walkable urban destination near Riyadh. The initiative reflects Parsons' strategic expansion in urban transformation projects and underscores its expertise in delivering technology-driven infrastructure solutions globally.
