Sony Pictures CEO Transition to Ravi Ahuja

Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) is set for a significant leadership transition as Tony Vinciquerra steps down as CEO on January 2, 2025, to be succeeded by Ravi Ahuja. Ahuja, currently the President and COO, has been with SPE since 2021 and has overseen global television studios. Vinciquerra will remain as an advisor until the end of 2025. This transition has been planned for over two years, with Ahuja being groomed for the role since joining SPE. Ahuja will report to Sony Group Corp. Chairman Kenichiro Yoshida and President Hiroki Totoki. Vinciquerra praised Ahuja's capabilities, noting his strong leadership qualities and experience from Disney and Fox.
