FedEx orders 10 ATR 72-600F freighters, enhancing fleet

FedEx has ordered an additional 10 ATR 72-600F regional freighters, supplementing a prior commitment of 30 aircraft, with deliveries expected between 2027 and 2029. This model is specifically designed for cargo operations, featuring a large cargo door and optimized bulk configuration to enhance volume capacity. The ATR 72-600F, which boasts a payload capacity of 9.2 tons, will replace older ATR models in FedEx's fleet and improve network capabilities in diverse environments.
