Peacock Orders Animated Ted Sequel Series

Peacock has ordered an animated sequel series to Seth MacFarlane's Ted film franchise, set after the events of the two movies. Seth MacFarlane returns as both the voice of Ted and executive producer, joined by Mark Wahlberg, Amanda Seyfried, and Jessica Barth reprising their roles. Kyle Mooney and Liz Richman will voice new characters in the series. The show is produced by Universal Studio Group’s UCP, with Paul Corrigan and Brad Walsh continuing as showrunners from the live-action prequel series. The Ted franchise remains highly successful, with the original film grossing nearly $550 million and the sequel over $215 million. Anticipation is high for the new series, following the prequel's record-breaking performance on Peacock.
