Double Shootings in Detroit, Chicago Leave 2 Dead

Two separate double shootings occurred Saturday evening, one in Detroit and one in Chicago, each resulting in one man dead and another hospitalized in serious condition. In Detroit, the shooting took place near Stoepel Park around 6:40 p.m., killing a man in his 20s and injuring another man in the same age group; no suspects have been identified. In Chicago's Brighton Park neighborhood, three men exited a white car and opened fire on two victims standing outside, killing 30-year-old Edgar Arroyo and seriously injuring a 57-year-old man. The Chicago incident happened around 9 p.m. on the 3000 block of West 37th Place, and the suspects remain at large.
