Bob Dylan has announced a new UK and Ireland tour for autumn 2025, continuing his practice of banning mobile phones during concerts to enhance the live experience. Fans attending the Rough and Rowdy Ways tour will be required to place their phones in locked Yondr pouches, which remain sealed throughout the shows and can only be unlocked in designated areas in case of emergencies. This no-phone policy, also adopted by artists like Jack White and The Lumineers, aims to prevent video recording and encourage attendees to be fully present. Dylan’s tour will include multiple dates across cities such as Dublin, Glasgow, Swansea, Leeds, Coventry, and Killarney, with tickets going on sale in mid-July. The singer, a Nobel Prize recipient and multiple Grammy winner, has previously employed this policy on his 2022 and 2024 UK tours, reinforcing his commitment to a distraction-free concert environment.
