Authorities Seize Heroin in Multiple Operations

In a recent surge of drug-related arrests across various regions, Maldives Customs seized 2.05 kilograms of narcotics from two Indian passengers arriving from Malaysia, handing them over to local police for further investigation. Meanwhile, multiple drug peddlers were apprehended in India, including four individuals in Coimbatore found with synthetic drugs, and three more arrested with 22kg of ganja. In Nagpur, authorities conducted a large-scale operation, arresting 153 drug peddlers and utilizing advanced technology for tracking. Additionally, a woman in Bangladesh was arrested with three kilograms of heroin, and Punjab Police arrested a smuggler linked to Pakistan, seizing 1.4 kilograms of heroin in a joint operation, indicating a growing concern over trans-border drug trafficking. Investigations are ongoing in all cases.
