Nestlé Trials Paper Tubs for Quality Street

Nestlé is set to trial a new paper tub for its iconic Quality Street chocolates in collaboration with Tesco, starting next week. Over 200,000 of these environmentally friendly tubs, designed for home recycling, will be available in selected stores, aiming to reduce the brand's reliance on virgin plastic. The paper tub features an integrated re-close mechanism and has undergone extensive testing to ensure the freshness and quality of the chocolates inside. Quality Street has previously transitioned many of its sweets from foil and cellulose to paper, and this new tub represents a continued commitment to sustainability. Brand manager Jemma Handley expressed excitement about the trial, highlighting the luxurious design and the care taken in its development.
