Georgia Walmart Employee Kills 2, Injures 1 in Shooting

In the early hours of April 11, 2025, a Walmart employee in Covington, Georgia, carried out targeted shootings, killing two colleagues and critically injuring another before being apprehended. The suspect left the store, retrieved a firearm, returned to fatally shoot a co-worker, and then shot another outside the store. Subsequently, the shooter forced entry into a nearby home, where a third victim was fatally shot. All victims were described as acquaintances of the shooter, and the attacks were not random. The suspect fled to Aiken, South Carolina, where they were later arrested. The motive remains unclear as investigations continue.
