Alexander-Walker Returns to Bench, Sims to Start

Nickeil Alexander-Walker, having started his first game of the season on Wednesday for the Timberwolves due to Mike Conley's rest, will return to the bench for Friday's game against the Kings as Conley resumes play. In the Wednesday game against the Trail Blazers, Alexander-Walker performed notably, scoring 13 points, along with contributing five rebounds, three assists, three steals, and one block. Despite these efforts, his performance has not been sufficient to secure a permanent starting position, remaining a vital part of the rotation with averages of 8.4 points, 2.6 assists, and 2.4 rebounds per game. Meanwhile, Jericho Sims will start Friday for the Knicks against the Nets, due to Karl-Anthony Towns' unexpected absence. Sims has had limited playtime this season but started 11 times last season, averaging 4.3 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.
