Seven Arrested for Child Abuse, Trafficking in Alabama Bunker

Authorities in Alabama arrested seven individuals, including four men and three women, for the sexual abuse and trafficking of children aged three to 15 in a grim underground bunker near Brent. The suspects, some of whom are related to the victims, allegedly used an animal shock collar on the children’s genitals for punishment and sexual gratification. The bunker, described as squalid and desolate with minimal furnishings, served as the site of repeated rape, sexual torture, and human trafficking, with some victims forced to perform sexual acts on each other. Charges against the accused include rape, sexual torture, kidnapping, and human trafficking, with one suspect alleged to have raped a 10-year-old girl. Bibb County Sheriff Jody Wade condemned the crimes as the worst he has seen in his 33 years of law enforcement and held a press conference to address the case. Investigations revealed that the abuse started in 2022 and continued into 2025, with the bunker being a converted storm shelter at or near a family member's home.
