Yellowstone Expands with Multiple Spinoffs, Major Cast Additions Confirmed

Cole Hauser and Matthew McConaughey are reuniting for a new Netflix sports drama series tentatively called The Brothers Project, where they will play brothers in a football-themed story created by True Detective's Nic Pizzolatto and produced by Skydance Sports. This project is separate from the expanding Yellowstone franchise, which continues to grow with multiple spin-offs and prequels. Hauser and Kelly Reilly will reprise their roles as Rip Wheeler and Beth Dutton in the Yellowstone spin-off titled The Dutton Ranch, set to premiere in 2026 after a delay, with Annette Bening joining the cast as a powerful ranch head. The Dutton Ranch will focus on the couple managing their 7,000-acre ranch and raising their adopted son Carter, played by Finn Little, continuing the present-day timeline of Yellowstone. Additionally, Luke Grimes will star in Y: Marshals, a new Yellowstone spin-off following his character Kayce Dutton as a U.S. Marshal, featuring several original cast members and new additions.
