The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced 89 candidates for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections after failing to secure a seat-sharing agreement with the Congress. AAP also released a list of 40 star campaigners, including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his wife Sunita, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, and other senior leaders. Meanwhile, the Congress has declared candidates for 86 of the 90 assembly seats, including Aditya Surjewala, son of Randeep Surjewala, and several other notable figures. The BJP has also released its third list of candidates. Both parties are preparing for the elections scheduled for October 5, with the nomination deadline on September 12. The AAP and Congress are contesting the elections independently after seat-sharing talks failed.
