Communities Host 9/11 Anniversary Events

Communities across the United States are hosting various events to commemorate the 23rd anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks. In Laurel, Montana, a motorcycle group will sponsor the 19th Annual 9-11 Remembrance Ride, with proceeds supporting Hometown Troops. The International Peace Garden in Dunseith, North Dakota, will hold a memorial event with notable speakers and performances. Wilmington, North Carolina, will see multiple events including the 19th annual 343 Memorial Ride and a ceremony by the Wilmington Fire Department. Additionally, the Ohio Statehouse will display 2,977 flags representing the victims, with a program featuring state dignitaries. Other notable events include ceremonies in Darien, Connecticut, Charleston, South Carolina, and East Windsor, New Jersey.
