Ronald Hazen Kerr, 60, and Consuelo D. Kerr, 53, were both found dead after an officer-involved shooting in Middletown, Ohio, following a domestic incident on Mohawk Street. Police responded to reports that Ronald Kerr had shot his wife and attempted to negotiate with him upon arrival. During the standoff, Ronald Kerr allegedly fired at officers, who then returned fire, fatally shooting him. Both individuals were discovered deceased inside the residence. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations is leading an independent investigation, while local authorities are conducting parallel reviews. All officers involved were unharmed and those who fired their weapons have been placed on leave pending further review.
