Three Convicted for Attempted Murder of Paul Allen

Three men, Daniel Kelly and brothers Louis and Stewart Ahearne, were convicted of conspiracy to murder Paul Allen, a former cage fighter involved in Britain's largest cash robbery. Allen was shot and left paralyzed in 2019, following a meticulously planned attack that included surveillance and a tracking device on his car. The case remained unsolved for years until an iPad recovered from the River Thames provided crucial evidence, with its SIM card containing call records and GPS data linking the men to both the shooting and an art heist involving Ming Dynasty antiques. Additional evidence from DNA, CCTV, and bullet casings further supported their conviction. The attack on Allen is believed to be linked to his criminal past, including his role in a £54 million robbery in 2006.
