Kent Bar Shooting, Aberdeen Arrests in Separate Incidents
Two men, aged 63 and 18, were arrested following a shooting in the parking lot of the Inn Between Pub in Kent, Washington. The incident began when the younger man and others confronted and shoved the older man while attempting to steal his necklace, leading the older man to shoot the teen in the leg. The 18-year-old fled but soon returned and fired shots at the older man, who was not injured. Police intercepted the older man as he tried to leave in an SUV and arrested him for obstruction, while the younger suspect was arrested for assault and unlawful possession of a firearm after being treated at a hospital. No other injuries were reported, and Kent Police continue to investigate, urging additional witnesses to come forward. Separately, in Aberdeen, Scotland, police arrested a man and a woman after a firearms-related disturbance, with both set to appear in court.
