India's leading men's doubles badminton team, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, advanced to the semifinals of the China Masters Super 750 tournament after a commanding quarterfinal win over China's Ren Xiang Yu and Xie Haonan. The duo, ranked ninth globally, will face Malaysia's second-seeded pair Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik in the semifinals. Meanwhile, PV Sindhu, a two-time Olympic medalist, was eliminated in the women's singles quarterfinals by world number one An Se Young, marking her eighth consecutive loss to the Korean.
