The Temptations Perform at NLCS Game 5

The iconic Motown group, The Temptations, performed their hit song 'My Girl' at Citi Field before Game 5 of the NLCS between the New York Mets and the Los Angeles Dodgers. This track has been used by Mets' shortstop Francisco Lindor as his walk-up song since May, becoming a fan favorite and singalong at the stadium. Lindor expressed excitement about the special moment, as fans have continued to sing the chorus even after the music stops. The Temptations also performed the national anthem during the pregame festivities. The event marks a continuation of the Mets' tradition of live performances, following previous appearances such as Timmy Trumpet's.
