Cruise Passenger Dies in Half Moon Cay Jet Ski Accident

A 73-year-old British-Czechoslovakian woman tragically died in a jet ski accident while on a Holland America Line cruise in the Bahamas. The incident occurred on March 22 at Half Moon Cay, where she lost control of the jet ski and collided with a rock. Despite medical assistance, she was pronounced dead at the scene by a local doctor. The victim was a passenger on the Nieuw Amsterdam, which was on a Caribbean cruise from Fort Lauderdale.
